Key Responsibilities Transcription: Accurately type dictated or written ultrasound scan results into a clear, formatted medical report. Medical Terminology: Ensure correct spelling and consistent use of medical terms relevant to sonography. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and scan findings. Data Entry & Record Keeping: May handle data entry and organize patient records and imaging data. Patient Interaction: Provide patients with pre-scan instructions and manage sensitive cases. Quality Assurance: Review reports for accuracy, spelling, grammar, and proper report structure. Collaboration: Work closely with sonographers, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate reporting.
