Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our kitchen and warehouse facilities. This role involves managing manpower, allocating tasks, ensuring shift efficiency, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in shift operations, especially in hospitality, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage daily/weekly manpower rosters.
- Supervise the start, handover, and end-of-shift procedures.
- Allocate work based on employee skill sets and shift requirements.
- Ensure full shift coverage by tracking attendance and managing leave adjustments.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and labor compliance as per regulatory and internal standards.
- Monitor and improve productivity and team performance through feedback and coaching.
- Resolve day-to-day operational challenges with minimal disruption.
- Support inventory control processes and ensure stock accuracy.
- Maintain and submit daily shift reports, including KPIs and issue logs.
- Collaborate with other shift supervisors for smooth shift transitions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations or manpower management.
- Background in hospitality, food production, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills in English and regional languages.
- Proficiency in basic reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
