The Service Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers visiting the two-wheeler workshop. This role is crucial for ensuring a positive customer experience from the moment they arrive. The Service Receptionist is responsible for greeting customers, accurately documenting their service needs, creating job cards, and communicating with both customers and technicians to ensure a smooth and efficient service process.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Communication:
- Warmly greet customers upon their arrival at the service reception area.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and accurately document their service requests.
- Answer phone calls in a professional manner, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing updates on service progress.
- Clearly explain service recommendations, estimated costs, and timelines to customers.
- Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehicle.
Workshop & Administrative Duties:
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work and manage the workshop schedule.
- Maintain an organized and tidy reception area.
- Process service invoices and collect payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all service jobs, customer information, and parts used.
- Assist with inventory management of parts and accessories.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on workshop activities as required by the Workshop Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably within an automotive or two-wheeler service environment.
- Customer Focus: A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
