Operate and perform day to day maintenance and repair duties on a large variety of plant equipment not limited to boiler room.
Perform maintenance on boiler systems and their valves, gauges, piping, and other equipment. Inspect fluids and replace filters. Record daily reading, adjust equipment.

Qualifications and Certifications
- Certification: A Second-Class Boiler Operator must hold a Second-Class Boiler Attendant Certificate, which is obtained after passing an examination conducted by relevant authorities. 1
- Experience: Candidates typically need at least 3 years of experience as a boiler attendant or a combination of training and experience in boiler operations. 1
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 20 years old to apply for the certification examination. 1
