Key Responsibilities: Ensure effective implementation of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) systems as per Siemens and contractual project requirements. Develop and implement health and safety plans in accordance with legal guidelines, customer expectations, and organizational standards. Monitor and maintain compliance with international EHS standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).Ensure adherence to corporate EHS policies, procedures, and legal requirements to foster a strong safety culture at project sites.Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment in coordination with the EHS core team and implement effective control measures.Guide and train site personnel on EHS practices and procedures to ensure safe work environments.Manage selection, evaluation, and performance of contractors, including implementation of penalties and incentives based on safety performance.Identify EHS training needs, organize and conduct safety training programs and awareness sessions across all levels.Participate in and support internal/external EHS audits, ensure timely corrective and preventive action implementation.Monitor and report near misses, unsafe acts/conditions; ensure timely resolution through core EHS team guidance.Conduct incident/accident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to all relevant stakeholders.Ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) based on job risks and maintain availability of safety gear at all times.Evaluate work practices, procedures, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety requirements and minimize risks.Regularly coordinate with internal teams and external partners on EHS matters.Monitor consistency to EHS standards and prepare reports for management.Maintain and update the EHS Legal Register; track changes in relevant EHS laws and recommend necessary changes in internal policies.Support senior and site management in developing and executing strategies that enhance employee safety and reduce risks.---Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field (Diploma with experience may also be considered)Certified in Industrial Safety or NEBOSH/IOSH (preferred)3–7 years of relevant experience in project EHS management (preferably in infrastructure, construction, or engineering sectors)Strong understanding of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standardsEffective communication, training, and leadership skillsProficient in incident investigation, risk assessment, and legal compliance monitoring
