The Resident Housekeeping Assistant is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Beachside Community Centre. Working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and organized environment for guests, members, and staff. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, community-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cleaning & Maintenance
- Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and bathrooms.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and other amenities as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management team promptly.
2. Guest Services
- Assist with guest check-ins and provide information about the community center and its amenities.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Provide a friendly and professional presence to make guests feel at home.
3. Event Support
- Help prepare rooms and facilities for events, workshops, and meetings.
- Clean and reset spaces after events, ensuring they are ready for future use.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure event logistics run smoothly.
4. Community Engagement
- Act as a representative of the community center, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
- Participate in community activities and encourage engagement among guests and members.
- Support the center’s mission to promote a strong sense of belonging.
