Job Description
The Capital Mobilisation team within AVPN is commitment to creating an enabling ecosystem for effective capital flow towards impact organisations and demonstrate the potential to catalyse philanthropy and impact investment towards the SDGs through designing and delivering philanthropic funds, capacity-building programmes, innovative financing mechanisms, and forging corporate partnerships. We are seeking a Project Associate to join our team and support the AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific. The AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific, supported Google.org and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) started as the USD 15-million fund in 2024 and expanded with additional USD 10-million in 2025. This is a three-year programme designed to equip Asia’s workforce with essential artificial intelligence (AI) knowledge and tools required for the evolving work landscape. It aims to ensure that jobs and roles presented AI are accessible to more people in the region, specifically those from underserved communities. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in regional philanthropic project implementation across multiple facets of AI, social impact, and skilling initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Special Projects and is open to candidates based in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, India or Japan. This is a full-time contract position for one year with a possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Assist in operations involving diverse data sources, including data collection and analysis. Ensure that all data is consistently accurate, up to date, and readily accessible at all times.
- Support coordination and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake any other ad hoc tasks as needed to support the successful implementation of the fund and the overall operations of the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure excellence in all projects and tasks.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Language skill (i.e. Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese) is a plus.
