Job Summary:
We are looking for a caring and dedicated Home Tutor for preschool-aged children in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a passion for early childhood education, with experience in teaching foundational concepts in a playful and nurturing manner. This role involves delivering personalized learning at the child’s home to support early cognitive, language, and motor skills development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions at the child’s home for preschool learning
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early learning goals
- Use engaging, interactive methods such as stories, music, art, and games to teach basic literacy and numeracy
- Monitor the child’s progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Encourage social, emotional, and communication skill development
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Provide regular updates to parents on the child’s development and areas of focus
- Foster curiosity, independence, and a love for learning in young learners
Requirements:
- Graduate in any stream
- ECCEd / B.Ed / Montessori certification is preferred
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in preschool or early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of child psychology and early education methodologies
- Patient, warm, and creative approach to teaching
- Female candidates preferred due to the nature of the role
