Volunteer Role: Pre-Primary Education Research & Curriculum Support (Unpaid)
About the Role
We are seeking passionate and experienced volunteers to contribute to our Early Childhood Education & Development Program. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in pre-primary education and a keen interest in pedagogy, lesson planning, and curriculum structuring. Volunteers will play a vital role in supporting curriculum research, developing lesson frameworks, and creating effective assessment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and contribute to innovative approaches in early childhood pedagogy.
- Support lesson planning and structuring for pre-primary learners.
- Assist in designing assessment tools aligned with developmental milestones.
- Apply creative thinking to curriculum development and activity design.
- Prepare and maintain documents, reports, and lesson plans using MS Word and Excel.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance holistic learning experiences for young children.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 15 years of experience in pre-primary or early childhood education.
- Strong knowledge of pedagogy and child-centered learning methods.
- Experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and assessment planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Creative and research-oriented mindset.
- (Bonus) Experience with Montessori education.
Commitment
- Duration: 1 month
- Time: 15 hours per week (flexible schedule)
