Job Title- Pre-Primary Teacher
Location- G. D Goenka Public School, Patna
Job Summary:
The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for nurturing the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of children aged 3 to 5 years. The teacher will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment through play-based and activity-oriented teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans following the prescribed curriculum (e.g., Montessori, EYFS, or local board).
- Use storytelling, songs, rhymes, games, and creative play to encourage learning.
- Promote social skills, motor coordination, and language development.
- Monitor and assess each child’s progress and maintain records of development.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, respect, and cooperation.
- Communicate regularly with parents through meetings, diaries, and updates.
- Ensure child safety, hygiene, and discipline are maintained.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, training programs, and workshops.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education / Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a pre-primary setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and basic knowledge of child psychology.
Preferred Skills:
- Patience and enthusiasm.
- Creative teaching techniques.
- Ability to manage a classroom with warmth and discipline.
- Familiarity with modern teaching aids (smart boards, audiovisual tools, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
