The Role
The Platform Support Manager is a product-aligned platform leadership role overseeing the support and maintenance of all backlog, roadmap coordination, and integration readiness of Presidio's platform. This position, fundamental to maintaining our product management functionality, works closely with Services Product Managers, Governance, and Development teams to support the overall platform and solution accelerators once released. Platform Support Manager ensures operational and technical excellence in platform & Solution evolution. This role bridges product strategy; technical build execution and ongoing support and maintenance to deliver a world-class platform.
Major Responsibilities:
- Own operational excellence and uptime of the platform to support development, demos, lab environments and ongoing development.
- Owns the management of support and maintenance activity backlog including epic prioritization, sprint planning, and release coordination across development teams and new features for solution accelerators
- Partner with Services Product Managers to translate any new feature / functional product requirements into technical platform capabilities .
- Lead platform roadmap development balancing strategic initiatives, technical debt, and operational improvements.
- Coordinate integration readiness ensuring new platform features align with existing services and third-party systems.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and platform demos for stakeholders.
- Drive technical decision-making for platform architecture, technology selection, and scalability strategies.
- Manage platform health metrics including performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with Governance teams to ensure platform compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Oversee platform documentation including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and operational runbooks.
- Coordinate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
- Support Service Delivery teams with platform training, troubleshooting, and enhancement requests.
- Drive platform innovation through proof-of-concepts, technology evaluation, and partnership opportunities.
- Manage platform budget including development costs, infrastructure expenses, and tooling investments.
Technology/Area of Specialization:
- Deep expertise in cloud platform architectures including multi-cloud strategies and hybrid deployments.
- Strong understanding of service management platforms, orchestration tools, and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of API design, microservices architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with DevOps practices including infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and continuous delivery.
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and AIOps platforms for service management.
- Understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and zero-trust architectures.
- Expert in ongoing management of and maintenance of technical platforms and solutions.

Required Skills:
- 7-10 years of experience in platform engineering, technical product management, or cloud architecture roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record leading platform or infrastructure teams in services or SaaS environments.
- Deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and technical delivery practices.
- Experience with service management platforms and ITSM/ITOM tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills including executive communication.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Expert) strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-based with standard computer work requirements. Limited travel (<10%) for team meetings, vendor sessions, or technology conferences. May require occasional after-hours work for platform deployments or incident response.
