Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Onsite Chess Coach to join our academy in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting chess sessions at our training center, mentoring students, and contributing to tournament preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured chess coaching sessions for kids and adults (Beginner to Advanced levels)
- Prepare lesson plans, training modules, and progress reports
- Guide students in local and national-level chess tournaments
- Provide individual attention and track student improvement
- Collaborate with the academy’s curriculum team for coaching enhancements
Requirements:
- Strong chess background (Minimum FIDE rating of 1400 preferred)
- Prior coaching experience (1+ years preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and mentoring young talent
- Willingness to work on weekends (as classes often run on weekends)
