We are seeking a skilled Microsoft SQL Server Administrator with a graduate degree and 3 years of experience in database administration to join our team in Kuwait City. The role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, security, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring uptime and performance.
- Perform database installations, configurations, backups, and recovery operations.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Implement security measures, including user access control and data encryption.
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as patching, indexing, and updating statistics.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support application development and system integration.
- Ensure compliance with organizational data policies and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 3 years of hands-on experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Administrator.
- Proficiency in SQL Server management, T-SQL, and database optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery processes.
- This is a critical role for maintaining robust database systems in a dynamic on-site environment.
