Roles & Responsibilities :
Job Description:
Manage IMDS submissions, validate supplier data, and ensure compliance with IMDS, ELV, and material declaration standards.
Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customer queries related to compliance, regulatory updates, and sustainability initiatives.
Conduct regulatory assessments for REACH, RoHS, ELV, conflict minerals, and SCIP reporting while ensuring compliance with PFAS restrictions, Proposition 65, and evolving EU regulations.
Support sustainability initiatives with expertise in Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), including hands-on experience with PCF/LCA tools.
Track updates in environmental regulations and implement compliance strategies across materials and components.
Utilize Power BI for compliance reporting and develop Macros for automation and data validation.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and procurement teams to integrate compliance and sustainability requirements.
Work across multiple projects with a collaborative mindset, applying lateral thinking to solve complex compliance and sustainability challenges.
Align compliance strategies with the product development process, assessing material risks, ensuring regulatory and environmental requirements are incorporated from the early design stages
Skills & Experience:
Expertise in IMDS, SCIP, REACH, RoHS, ELV, conflict minerals, and global substance regulations.
Strong knowledge of PFAS restrictions, Proposition 65, and EU compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience with PCF and LCA tools for sustainability assessments.
Proficiency in Power BI, Macros, and automation tools for regulatory data management.
Understanding of hazardous substances, material composition, and chemical regulations.
Experience in customer handling and stakeholder coordination.
Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate across teams, and ensure compliance and sustainability requirements are seamlessly integrated into the product development lifecycle
3-6 years (Level 50 & 51) in material compliance, sustainability, or regulatory analysis.
Automotive industry experience is a plus.
