About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and streamline our supply chain operations. You will coordinate shipments, manage inventory, liaise with vendors and transporters, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain and logistics operations.
- Plan, track, and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Manage transportation, distribution, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and transporters for cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and, if applicable, customs regulations.
- Handle import/export documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.
- Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to streamline processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, transportation modes, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
