Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality software applications with a strong focus on performance and scalability
- Collaborate with designers, stakeholders, and fellow developers to create elegant and user-centric solutions
- Own end-to-end delivery – from concept to deployment and beyond
- Participate in client conversations to align technical solutions with business goals
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Build prototypes, MVPs, and production systems in lean cycles
- Contribute to internal learning sessions and represent the company at tech conferences
- Embrace continuous learning, mentorship, and feedback
- Lead with empathy, autonomy, and accountability in a fast-moving environment
Must-Have Skills
- Solid understanding of CS fundamentals and software design principles
- Experience building distributed systems and owning production-grade projects
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks like React/Redux
- Experience with dynamic backend languages like Ruby (Rails), Python (Django/Flask), or PHP (Laravel)
- Working knowledge of statically typed languages such as Java, Go, C++, or Rust
- Strong experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL; ability to optimize queries and interpret query plans
- Familiarity with bundling tools like Webpack, Parcel, Rollup, or esbuild
- Working knowledge of Linux, SSH, and basic server operations
- Exposure to Docker, and preferably Kubernetes for orchestration
Bonus Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities
- A polyglot developer and passionate software craftsman
