- Supporting Experiments and Tests:Assisting with the setup, execution, and data collection of electrical and electronic experiments and tests as per BIS standards.
- Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:Maintaining, calibrating, and repairing laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Troubleshooting and Repair:Diagnosing and fixing faults in electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
- Documentation and Reporting:Maintaining accurate records of experiments, tests, and equipment maintenance as per BIS.
- Safety and Compliance:Ensuring the laboratory environment adheres to safety regulations and guidelines.
- Inventory and Materials Management:Managing lab supplies and materials, including ordering and stocking.
- Collaboration and Communication:Working with other lab personnel, researchers, and instructors to support lab activities.
- Training and Support:Providing guidance and training to students or other lab users on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Software and Hardware Support:May also be involved in maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks used in the lab.
- Specific Tasks:This can include tasks like soldering, circuit board assembly and repair, and using specialized software for design and analysis.
