Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in lab testing.
Job description / Key Responsibilities:
· Perform routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
· Assist in calibration, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
· Prepare, label, and maintain test samples as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Record and analyze test results accurately, ensuring proper documentation.
· Maintain proper housekeeping and safety practices in the laboratory.
· Assist in preparation of quality reports and share findings with the QA/QC team.
· Ensure compliance with company quality policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
· Support audits, inspections, and customer visits by providing necessary lab records.
· Report deviations, non-conformities, or abnormalities in testing to the Quality Engineer/Manager
Desired Skills:
- Proficient in instruments like Vernier, Micrometre, Durometer, Height gauge etc.
- Experience in handling of TPI regarding witness testing of railway products / offered lot.
- 5S practices for implementation in lab area.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving lab testing issues.
Additional skills / Knowledge:
· Should be from P U product manufacturing & testing background.
· Knowledge about lab testing / inspection (TPI) of railway products.
· Coordinate joint inspection/witness testing with third-party inspector for railway products.
· Knowledge/ Experience about working/ use of SAP.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
