- Supervise and coordinate interior trades, including carpentry, drywall, painting, and finishing.
- Lead and direct site staff, subcontractors, and labourers.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Coordinate material deliveries, storage, and inventory management.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation.
- Track and report labour hours, productivity, and costs.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and report to management.
- Work with interior design team to develop design solutions
- Ability to study site to support design team on technical issues influencing concept development
- Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion
- Select furniture, materials, decor and finishes while keeping within budget
- Understanding of various types of materials used for interior work
Qualification Required.
- 2-3 years’ relevant interior works execution experience
- In-depth knowledge of various type of materials used for finishing, false ceiling, wall panelling, flooring and other furniture systems and finishes
- Demonstrate understanding of basic principles of space planning
- Able to develop and present design concepts
- AutoCAD proficiency is preferred
