An IELTS Tutor is a professional who helps students prepare for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam, which is required for study, work, or migration to English-speaking countries. Their role includes guiding students in all four sections of the test: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IELTS test strategies and tips for achieving high band scores.
- Conduct practice sessions for Speaking interviews.
- Provide writing task corrections with feedback.
- Improve listening and reading comprehension using past papers.
- Track students’ progress and provide performance evaluations.
- Create customized lesson plans based on individual student levels (General or Academic).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (English/Linguistics preferred).
- Proficiency in English (usually C1/C2 level or own IELTS score 7.5+ preferred).
- Teaching experience (especially in test prep) is a plus.
- Strong communication, patience, and motivational skills.
