The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of assigned areas in the facility. This role contributes to a pleasant, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests or staff by performing various cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and furniture as needed.
- Replace linens, restock supplies, and report any damages or maintenance issues.
- Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Follow specific cleaning protocols, including infection control procedures.
- Respond to guest or resident requests in a courteous and timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
