Our client is based in Osnabrück, Germany, with a focus on sport horses in the discipline of show jumping. We offer high standards of care and training in a small, family-run environment. We are now expanding our team and looking for dedicated individuals from India who are interested in working with horses in Germany—either as trainees or as experienced professionals.
We Offer Two Opportunities:Option 1: Training Program for High School Graduates
We welcome expressions of interest from young people in India who have completed 12th grade (or equivalent) but do not yet have formal grooming experience.
- You would come to Germany to train as a horse groomer, while also attending a German language course during your training.
- This is a sponsored opportunity offered through our company.
- It’s a gateway to long-term employment and residence in Germany for those passionate about horses and willing to learn.
- You must be physically fit, hardworking, and committed to developing your skills.
Language requirement: German language training will be provided during your stay. No fluency is needed before arrival.
Educational requirement: Minimum 12th-grade (high school) completion
Option 2: Job Opportunity for Experienced Horse Grooms
We are also hiring trained and experienced grooms from India who already have professional experience working with horses (e.g. grooming, lunging, competition support, etc.).
- You would join as a full-time groomer, working independently with our sport horses.
- Tasks include grooming, feeding, mucking out, assisting in jumping training, preparing horses for shows, and more.
- This is a long-term position for someone who is reliable, responsible, and passionate about horse care.
Language requirement:
– If you have completed 10th grade only (9–10 years of schooling)
– If you have completed 12th grade or formal groomer training, German is not required beforehand but basic English or German is preferred.
– Ongoing language learning is encouraged.
General Job Responsibilities (both roles):
- Feeding and mucking out stalls
- Turning horses out and managing horse walkers/treadmills
- Grooming, tacking up, and preparing horses for training or competitions
- Assisting with show jumping and travel to competitions
- Lunging, clipping, and basic horse care
- Recognizing early signs of illness/injury
- General farm and yard duties
- Keeping your living and working area clean and organized
