Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented GST Manager to oversee the organization’s indirect tax functions, including end-to-end GST compliance, audits, return filings, reconciliations, and advisory services. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of GST laws, changing tax regulations, and strong experience in handling multi-state GST operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)
- Handle GST registration, amendment, cancellation, and related processes
- Conduct GST input tax credit reconciliation with purchase registers and GSTR-2B
- Manage GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices
- Provide advisory support on tax implications for various business transactions
- Monitor changes in GST law and update internal systems and stakeholders accordingly
- Liaise with internal departments and external consultants for GST-related queries
- Maintain accurate documentation for GST compliance and audits
- Evaluate and implement automation tools and technology for efficient tax compliance
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Indian GST laws and regulations
- Hands-on experience with GST portals and ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret legal provisions and apply them to practical scenarios
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and deadline-driven approach
Qualifications:
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com / M.Com with specialization in taxation or indirect taxes
- Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in GST-specific roles
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
