Job Title: Fitter

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Fitter to assemble, install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and various mechanical components. The candidate should have hands-on experience with mechanical tools and a strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Assemble and fit mechanical parts, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Install, align, and test machinery or equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on machines and mechanical systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out as per safety standards and company policies.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Fitter/Mechanical trade or equivalent qualification.
• Proven work experience as a Fitter or in a similar mechanical role.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of welding, drilling, grinding, and other fabrication processes.
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy tools and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of safety rules and procedures.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in industrial machinery assembly and maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹7,500.00 - ₹8,500.00 per month
