- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and piping systems based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate fabrication machinery such as shears, brakes, saws, drill presses, and welding machines.
- Carry out cutting, bending, and welding operations using tools such as oxy-acetylene torches, MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
- Inspect and measure finished components to ensure conformity with technical drawings and plant standards.
- Perform structural and piping modifications as required during plant shutdowns, maintenance, or upgrades.
- Work closely with engineers, fitters, and plant technicians to resolve design and fabrication issues.
- Ensure all fabrication work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and power plant safety protocols.
- Maintain and repair fabrication tools and equipment.
- Document all work performed including material usage, dimensions, and quality control checks.
