- Assist in following up with fabric suppliers and mills on order status and delivery timelines
- Maintain and update fabric tracking sheets (PO status, dispatches, in-house dates)
- Coordinate fabric sample approvals (lab dips, handlooms, bulk samples) with design/merchandising teams
- Check incoming fabric for basic quality parameters and communicate issues to seniors
- Support documentation and filing related to fabric sourcing, testing, and approvals
- Work closely with the production planning team to align fabric deliveries with production schedules
- Monitor fabric in-house vs. planned dates and escalate delays
- Support inventory tracking and bin card maintenance
- Assist in coordination for fabric testing (e.g., shrinkage, colorfastness) and report collection
- Visit mills or vendors (if required) under the supervision of the fabric incharge
