Job Summary:
We are a precision fabrication company specializing in heavy-duty components used in machines and machine tools. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabrication Supervisor to oversee our fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mild steel fabrication, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of the fabrication team, including welders, fitters, and helpers.
· Ensure that all fabrication work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards.
· Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
· Collaborate with the production manager and other departments to optimize workflows and resolve any production issues.
· Train and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to improve their skills and performance.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in mild steel fabrication, with at least X years in a supervisory role.
· Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metalworking processes, and fabrication equipment.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Should have knowledge of ISO standards in Fabrication
