We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills while fostering a love for literature and language.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning standards.
- Teach English Language and Literature to students in grades [specify grades].
- Assess, record, and report on students’ progress through assignments, projects, tests, and examinations.
- Encourage critical analysis, creative writing, and effective communication among students.
- Use innovative teaching strategies and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Provide timely feedback and academic guidance to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, cross-curricular projects, and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
