Job Summary:
Varun Group is looking for a skilled and experienced Draughtsman – Civil Engineering to join our Civil Engineering and Design team in Visakhapatnam. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and strong proficiency in AutoCAD. The role involves preparing detailed civil drawings, coordinating with engineers, and supporting design and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD for construction and infrastructure projects.
- Create layout plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings based on engineering inputs.
- Collaborate with civil and electrical engineering teams to integrate project requirements.
- Modify and revise drawings as required based on design changes or site feedback.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to company and industry drafting standards.
- Maintain documentation and drawing records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in basic quantity take-offs and material estimations from drawings.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a civil draughtsman or similar role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD drafting (2D essential).
- Solid understanding of civil and structural drafting concepts.
- Ability to read, interpret, and draft based on engineering designs and technical inputs.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
