Key Responsibilities:
- Creating Drawings:Developing detailed electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and general arrangement (GA) layouts.
- Interpreting Designs:Reviewing and interpreting electrical designs, specifications, and requirements from engineers and architects.
- Ensuring Compliance:Ensuring all electrical plans adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).
- Collaboration:Working with project teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project scope, requirements, and design specifications.
- Maintaining Documentation:Updating and revising existing electrical drawings, maintaining accurate records of design changes, and ensuring proper documentation of all project-related information.
- Using CAD Software:Proficiently utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent for creating and modifying drawings.
- Bill of Materials (BOM):Preparing bills of materials based on the electrical drawings.
- Troubleshooting:Supporting troubleshooting efforts by providing accurate design details and identifying discrepancies in drawings or technical documentation.
- Site Visits:May conduct site visits to gather data, verify measurements, and assess existing electrical systems.
