POSITION TITLE: DevOps Engineer
REPORTING TO: Associate Director
REPORTING LOCATION: Bengaluru
WORKING LOCATION: Bengaluru
SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Azure, CI/CD practices, and modern observability tools. You will play a key role in automating and streamlining deployment processes, managing infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.
Job description:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, Bicep, etc
- Manage and optimize container orchestration environments using Kubernetes (AKS).
- Deploy and maintain Dataverse Solutions via Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana, Azure Monitor, and other related tools.
- Troubleshoot issues across the CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure, and applications.
- Drive best practices for deployment, system reliability, and incident response.
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, and CI/CD processes.
Preferred Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying Dataverse solutions using pipelines.
- Proficient with Octopus Deploy or equivalent release management tools.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Azure Monitor, or equivalent.
- Solid scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, etc.
- Understanding of Git, TFVC and source control best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working with cross functional teams spread across geographies.
