JOB RELATED COMMUNICATIONS
Responsible for detailing Monitoring, controlling and ensuring that detailing schedules are followed. The Checker should have working relationship and collaborates with all Design and Detailing Engineers.
RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES
· Studies and validates requirements as given in the work order and makes sure that all clarifications have been followed during detailing.
· Check all type of structures assigned to him using Tekla/AutoCAD, detailing standards, and procedures.
· Guide the detailing team for following rules and standards to ensure best output to facilitate the fabrication team.
· Reports to Team Leader/Procurement about special and non-standard inventory items, non-standard fabrication requirements, non-standard shipping requirements and any difficulties he might encounter.
· Works closely with the Detailing Engineer to ensure his/her work is error-free.
· Recommends solutions to detailing problems to the Engineer that will improve the detailing efficiency.
· Responsible for the structural integrity and co-ordinates with Fabrication team for any issues related to detailing.
JOB RELATED COMPETENCIES & SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Diploma/BE/MTech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in PEB detailing
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
· A good knowledge of AutoCAD and Tekla.
· Ability to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard detailing practice, procedures using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
· A sufficient knowledge of PEB manufacturing practices.
· The maturity and ability to effectively meet with customers and properly communicate TNT standard practices.
