Job description:
- Key responsibilities of a DCDP include:
- Assisting the Chef de Partie: Helping with menu planning, daily prep work, and ensuring dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards.
- Preparing ingredients: This includes chopping, mixing, and other tasks required for cooking.
- Cooking and assembling dishes: Preparing components of dishes and assembling them to create the final product.
- Maintaining kitchen standards: Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Collaborating with other kitchen staff: Working effectively with other chefs and staff members to ensure smooth operations.
