About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial analysis, accounting, reporting, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly analytical, and interested in building a career in finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and budgets.
- Support daily accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliation, and expense tracking.
- Conduct financial and business performance analysis to support decision-making.
- Assist in tracking key financial and operational performance indicators (KPIs).
- Help with audits, compliance documentation, and internal controls.
- Monitor cash flow, invoices, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Research market trends, competitor data, and investment opportunities.
- Provide administrative and analytical support to the finance team.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and performance tracking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (knowledge of financial dashboards, ERP, or BI tools is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
