We’re seeking a seasoned Cloud Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across multiple cloud platforms. This is a hands-on architecture role for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys solving cross-cloud challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement multi-cloud data solutions using GCP, Azure, and other platforms
- Design and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric
- Build and manage storage layers with Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Implement Delta Lake for unified batch and streaming data processing
- Apply Medallion Architecture principles to organize data into bronze, silver, and gold layers
- Develop and maintain cross-cloud networking strategies to ensure seamless data flow and security
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to align architecture with strategic goals
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cloud data architecture across GCP and Azure
- Strong knowledge of BigQuery, Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric
- Hands-on expertise with GCS, ADLS, and Delta Lake
- Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture and its practical implementation
- Experience with cross-cloud networking, security, and governance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
