Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Authentic Chinese Cook to prepare high-quality Chinese cuisine. The ideal candidate must be skilled in traditional Chinese cooking techniques and dishes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. The candidate should be passionate about delivering authentic flavors with consistent taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide range of Chinese dishes including fried rice, noodles, Manchurian, Hakka, Szechuan, Cantonese, stir-fry, and dim sum.
- Use traditional Chinese cooking methods such as wok cooking, steaming, deep-frying, and sautéing.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and follow all food safety protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage food preparation and service timing.
- Monitor inventory levels of Chinese ingredients and coordinate for replenishment.
- Experiment and introduce new authentic Chinese items based on customer preferences.
