Job Title: Associate Teacher – Chemistry (CBSE Curriculum)

Job Purpose:
The Associate Chemistry Teacher will assist in delivering high-quality chemistry instruction to students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The role involves supporting the lead teacher, preparing lesson materials, conducting practical sessions, assessing student progress, and promoting scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead Chemistry teacher in planning and delivering lessons based on the CBSE curriculum for Grades VI to X.
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare teaching aids, notes, and supplementary materials.
- Help in assessing students through assignments, quizzes, practicals, and exams.
- Provide individual attention to students to support their academic growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Participate in curriculum planning, school events, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Stay updated with the latest changes in the CBSE syllabus and examination patterns.
- Collaborate with other science faculty members to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
- Supervise students during school hours and ensure discipline and code of conduct.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry (B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry).
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Minimum 0–2 years of experience teaching Chemistry, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Proficiency in English communication (spoken and written).
