Position: CBSE French Teacher (Class 1 to 8)
Location: Edify School, Chikkabanavara
Job Type: Part Time (3 days a week - Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday)
Job Summary:
Edify School is seeking a passionate and qualified French Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching French to students from Classes 1 to 8, promoting interest in foreign language learning, and supporting co-curricular initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach the French language to students from Classes 1 to 8 as per the curriculum.
- Design and deliver engaging lessons suited to different learning levels and styles.
- Conduct periodic assessments and provide constructive feedback to support student growth.
- Organize and lead co-curricular activities such as French language clubs, cultural events, and language competitions.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall language learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students’ academic progress effectively.
- Maintain discipline and promote a positive classroom and campus environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in French or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in French with the ability to teach junior and middle school students.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching languages and engaging young learners.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs and academic levels.
