Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bid Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire bid and proposal lifecycle, from initial request to final submission. You will work closely with our sales, technical, and leadership teams to create compelling, accurate, and high-quality proposals for our IT services, with a specific focus on Cloud and Cybersecurity solutions.
Your primary goal will be to translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive, and professionally written proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition and win new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end bid and proposal process, ensuring all activities are on track and deadlines are met.
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to understand client requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and sales teams to gather technical information, pricing details, and project delivery plans.
- Draft, write, and edit all sections of the proposal, including executive summaries, technical solutions, project timelines, and commercial responses.
- Ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and compliant with the client's specifications and internal quality standards.
- Maintain a library of reusable content, including case studies, service descriptions, and company credentials.
- Coordinate proposal reviews and approval cycles, incorporating feedback from all stakeholders.
- Track and report on bid outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a bid management, proposal writing, or similar role, preferably within the IT services or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of IT concepts and industry trends, with specific knowledge of Cloud Computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Cybersecurity (e.g., threat detection, identity and access management).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating technical jargon into accessible language.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in proposal management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
