Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Total Experience – 5+ years
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including data services and analytics tools
- Strong expertise in LookML and Looker Studio Pro, with proven experience building scalable dashboards and data models
- Proficiency in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and NoSQL systems like MongoDB and Kafka
- Solid understanding of Big Data ecosystems, including tools like Hadoop, Hive/Pig, and Trino
- Experience writing and optimizing queries in SQL, MQL, HQL, or similar query languages
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain data pipelines for large-scale data processing
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems such as Git
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments is a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain LookML models and Looker Studio Pro dashboards to support business intelligence needs
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to build robust data pipelines and ensure data quality across systems
- Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions using GCP-native tools and services
- Optimize query performance and dashboard responsiveness for end-users
- Integrate data from various sources including relational and NoSQL databases into unified reporting layers
- Participate in code reviews, data model audits, and ensure adherence to best practices in analytics development
- Support pre-sales and technical discussions for internal and client-facing data initiatives
- Contribute to thought leadership through documentation, internal knowledge sharing, and innovation in dashboard design
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration or visualization issues
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, data-driven culture
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
