Job Responsibilities:
- Engineering Bachelor's Degree or higher or Equivalent Degrees
- A minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS Applications Database administration including experience working with:
- AD utilities for maintenance of multi-node e-Business Suite environment with Shared File System, managing Concurrent Managers, Concurrent Programs, Request Sets, Request Groups, and Workflows;
- Maintenance, upgrade and patching of RAC enabled databases, performance tuning, sizing and capacity planning, backup and recovery using RMAN and Data Guard; and
- Administration and maintenance of the Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Hyperion, and Oracle OBIEE, including Oracle WebLogic Server.

- Experience working with
- Load Balancers for Oracle Applications;
- Oracle SOA suite, Oracle Hyperion, OBIEE and Oracle WebLogic Server
- Secure Sockets Layering (SSL) and SSO implementation knowledge.
- ITIL
- Oracle Certified professional (12c, 19c, 23ai)
- Oracle Application Certified (R12.1, R12.2)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Factors (KSAOs):
- The following KSAOs are required for successful performance of this job and are a basis for rating and ranking applicants shortlisted for the interviews.
- Comprehensive expert level knowledge of Oracle EBS (R12.1, R12.2) application administration, including installation, configuration, cloning, and upgrades, using Oracle EBS Applications DBA (AD) utilities and other tools to apply patches and system updates.
- Knowledge of the multi-node EBS environment to administer Concurrent Managers, Concurrent Programs, Request Sets, Request Groups, and Workflows and troubleshooting Workflow Mailer/Notification issues.
- Expert level knowledge of Oracle database (12c, 19c, 23ai) administration, maintenance, security implementation, upgrade and patching.
- Good knowledge of database performance tuning, database backup and recovery using RMAN and Oracle export/import utilities, administration, and maintenance to provide backup and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of installation, configuration, and maintenance of multi-node Oracle RAC enabled databases, including Oracle ASM and Oracle CRS management.
- Knowledge of PL/SQL packages, shell, and Perl scripts for task automation, and proactive database monitoring and notification using Oracle OEM Grid Control.
- Knowledge of administration and maintenance of the Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Hyperion, and OBIEE, including Oracle WebLogic Server to support Oracle ERP system integration with legacy systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for the Oracle Application.
- Skill in written communication to understand the written information (SOP) and to express similar information in writing so that others will understand. Examples include reviewing and editing established database policies and procedures and developing new SOPs for database software installation and configuration.
- Skill in oral communication to understand verbal information (including instructions, descriptions, and ideas) and to express such information verbally so that others will understand. Examples include exchanging routine and non-routine operational and procedural information and technical information to co-workers and Office management.
- Must be proactive and self-motivated and should not always wait for directions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- You will be reporting to Shift Leads and Manager and work on the tasks assigned.
- You will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, performance tuning, cloning, troubleshooting, and patching the Oracle EBS system.
- Ensure you meet the deadlines and the SLAs.
- You will serve as the first point of escalation for the Tier 1 and Jr. DBAs.
- Prepare and update documents for the customer tasks whenever required.
- Document all the issues and their solutions for future references.
- You are expected to book 9 hours (shift timing) per day which includes both customer billable and internal non-billable hours.
- Bring highly complex and highly sensitive issue into notice of the shift lead and the manager.
