Assistant Naturalist
Department: EM

Education Qualification: Bachelors in Forestry and Horticulture
Required Experience: 2-5 years
Role Description
- Flora and Fauna Identification
- Use of field equipment (Camera traps, binoculars, etc.)
- Knowledge in Birding and Ornithology
- Habitat surveying techniques
- Data collection & record keeping
- Understanding of ecosystems, species interactions, and biodiversity threats
- Taxonomy and classification
- Ecological monitoring techniques
- Ability to lead nature walks and educational sessions
- Writing and Preparing Biodiversity reports
- Basic statistics or data analysis (Excel, Word, Power point etc..)
- Using biodiversity databases (e.g., Ebird, iNaturalist)
- Familiarity with local and regional floras (e.g., IUCN Red List, CITES)
- Basic knowledge in Horticulture, Garden tools , equipments ,Tree pruning,Pest Disease Management and Parasite Identification
