As an Operational Due Diligence Analyst within our Alternatives Solutions Group, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.
Job responsibilities:
- Assist the team in initial and ongoing manager due diligence.
- Contribute to the strengthening of our ODD process, skills, and knowledge.
- Collaborate with investment and risk management teams.
- Develop independent views on new/existing managers regarding business and operational risks.
- Evaluate sustainability and diversity practices of managers.
- Participate in strategic projects and prepare periodic reporting.
- Work on initiatives aimed at ensuring our ODD practices remain cutting edge.
- Communicate ODD expertise to clients effectively.
- Coordinate and prepare for operational due diligence reviews on hedge fund and private credit managers.
- Disseminate, collect, review, and analyze operationally focused documents.
- Prepare written analysis/research for internal use.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Graduate /Post graduate with at least 4 years of relevant work experience in an ODD or similar role at a hedge fund investment or advisory organization.
- Prior experience in hedge fund operations, administration, accounting, bank hedge fund credit, or audit.
- Ability to apply knowledge/experience to assess operational risks and relevant ESG factors.
- Strong business acumen; knowledge of the global capital markets.
- Demonstrated aptitude for external client relations.
- Highly organized and pro-active; driven to excel.
- Able to work on multiple projects and pivot as needed.
- Strong analytical and inter-personal skills.
- Proven financial judgment and fiduciary mind-set.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- CFA/CAIA/MBA designation or any progression towards it will be preferred.
