The Business Analytics Analyst C09 is an entry level position within the Campus program for Analytics & Information Management & USPB Risk business. In the first year of Campus program, the Analyst gains foundational knowledge and experience of the range of analytical & statistical processes, procedures and systems to be used in perform assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based.
Responsibilities:
Analysts work and add value to their teams while attaining core competencies in areas such as:
- Data Manipulation: Incumbents work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
- Familiarity with Tools: Identify and compile data sets using a variety of tools (e.g. SQL, Access) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes
- Statistical mind set – Familiarity in basic statistics, hypothesis testing, segmentation, and predictive modeling
- Presentation & Visualization: Knowledge of data visualization techniques to design effective presentations
Qualifications:
- Recent college graduate with 0-2 years of work experience.
- Possess analytic ability and problem solving skills
- Basic Statistics and Probability
- Good Logical / Analytical / Quantitative /Reasoning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Mtech/MCA/MSc or equivalent Master’s degree from premier institutes
