Role Description
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications.
- Work across the full technology stack, focusing on Node.js for backend services and Vue.js for frontend interfaces.
- Support secure API integrations, user authentication, and cloud-native deployments.
An Information Technology & Business Shared Services presence is established in Hyderabad, India with the objective of providing information technology application development and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development:
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, Vue.js, and related technologies.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend components.
- Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery:
- Work closely with product managers and UX designers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Code Quality & Testing:
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Participate in peer code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Performance & Security:
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using Auth0.
- Integrate and manage APIs via Azure API Management (APIM).
- Monitor and address vulnerabilities across the application stack.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Proven experience building web applications and services using Node.js.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
- Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure API Management (APIM) for secure API integration.
- Familiarity with Auth0 for authentication and authorization workflows.
- Exposure to cloud-native development and deployment in Azure environments.
- Understanding of secure development practices and cybersecurity principles.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile teams and contribute to scalable, maintainable solutions.
