Your Role
You will focus on managing employee expense reimbursements and supporting core accounting functions and ensure timely and accurate processing of expenses, maintain clear records, and provide administrative and coordination support across teams globally.
- Reviewing and approving/rejecting travel and other employee expenditures in Navan.
- Providing additional administrative support as necessary, monitoring the #navan Slack channel and working directly with requests from Hudlies globally.
- Helping maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all travel and event-related activities in Hudl Sync and other locations such as Google Sheets
- Assisting in India accounting & co-ordination in Finance function

- Employee expense reimbursements
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding travel policies and procedures, including answering questions in #navan about reimbursement and travel guidelines.
- Serving as a first point of approval on all Navan reports.
- Performing other duties and assisting with other projects as assigned by the Finance team.
- Assisting in India accounting
- Recording journals in Tally / Netsuite
- Assist in monthly closing
Education
- Education: Bachelor’s in accounting or similar
- Experience: Finance exposure highly regarded. Tally ERP exposure will be an added advantage.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Organization: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively is critical for success in this role.
- Attention to detail: There are a lot of responsibilities that are all going on at once and a lot of dollars being spent, so accuracy is incredibly important.
- Time management: You need to be able to prioritize urgent requests and handle those quickly while letting less important work wait.
- Communication: Written communication skills are necessary for responding to employee inquiries in Slack and email.
- Customer service: Our customers are Hudlies. The ability to provide exceptional customer service to them is crucial in this role. This includes answering questions, providing some guidance, and resolving issues related to expense claims.
- Adaptable: Expense policies are always changing and being able to use reasonable judgment in some gray areas is a must.
- Quick learner: Should be a quick learner and able to implement change.
