Job Description:
As an Academic Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospective students, counsel them about the potential career opportunities in digital marketing, and guide them through the admissions process. Your role will involve building strong relationships with candidates, providing valuable information about the curriculum and course offerings, and converting inquiries into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counseling Candidates: Call prospective students to explain the benefits and scope of digital marketing education. Help them understand how digital marketing can shape their career.
- Admission Conversion: Effectively convert leads into admissions through clear communication, persuasion, and relationship building.
- Information Sharing: Provide detailed information about course offerings, schedules, fees, and the career prospects in digital marketing.
- Follow-ups: Conduct timely follow-ups with leads who have shown interest but have not yet enrolled.
- Manage Enrollments: Assist in the administrative process of enrollment, ensuring the candidate understands the steps involved in joining the program.
- Track Progress: Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, conversions, and follow-up activities.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in academic counseling, sales, or customer relations (preferably in the education sector).
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way.
- Confidence and Persuasion: Confident in handling calls and persuasive in guiding candidates through the enrollment process.
- Industry Knowledge: A basic understanding of digital marketing or willingness to quickly learn and stay updated about industry trends.
- Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset. Ability to meet or exceed monthly admission targets.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple candidates simultaneously and track progress effectively.
- Experience in Education Sales: Previous experience in education counseling, student recruitment, or a related field is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum Graduation in any Stream
- Experience in a sales-driven role.
