We’re hiring a skilled 3D Lighting Faculty with expertise in Blender, Maya, and Unreal Engine. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of lighting and rendering workflows across animation and real-time engines, along with a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities
- Train students in Lighting & Rendering techniques using Blender, Maya (Arnold/Redshift), and Unreal Engine (Lumen/RT).
- Cover topics such as:
- Three-point lighting
- HDRI & global illumination
- Shadow control & AOVs
- Real-time lighting workflows in Unreal
- Evaluate student assignments, guide portfolio development, and provide feedback.
- Maintain high-quality classroom engagement and delivery.
- Collaborate with the academic head for course design and updates.
Requirements
- 5 to 15 years of experience in lighting (studio or teaching).
- Proficiency in:
- Blender (Cycles, Eevee)
- Autodesk Maya (with Arnold/Redshift)
- Unreal Engine (Lumen, lighting blueprints)
- Good understanding of cinematic and real-time lighting.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
