Job Title: 2nd Class Boiler Operator
Location: Gandhidham, Gujarat

Salary: Rs. 32000 – 48000 per month (negotiable based on skills and certification)
Job Objective:
Responsible for safe and efficient operation of AFBC or IBR boilers to support continuous production operations in an edible oil manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain AFBC or IBR boilers in compliance with Boiler Act and safety standards
- Monitor steam pressure, temperature, fuel feed, and water levels
- Perform routine checks of boiler equipment, valves, gauges, feed pumps, and safety controls
- Maintain logbooks of operational data and report anomalies
- Support preventive maintenance and shutdown activities
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, energy conservation practices, and plant safety norms
- Coordinate with the utility team and shift engineers for smooth operations
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and report maintenance needs
- Assist during boiler inspections and audits by government authorities
Qualifications:
- Boiler Attendant Certificate – 2nd Class (Mandatory)
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant technical trade
- Strong understanding of AFBC boiler systems, water treatment, and steam distribution
- Familiarity with safety norms such as OHSAS or ISO and statutory compliance
- Basic knowledge of DCS operations preferred
