We are hiring a skilled and motivated Part-Time Bidding Expert to help identify and secure new business opportunities on platforms like Upwork. This role is ideal for professionals from IT sales, pre-sales, or business development backgrounds who are looking to contribute remotely with a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search, filter, and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and similar platforms
- Write customized, client-specific proposals to maximize conversion
- Interact with clients to understand their technical and business requirements
- Collaborate with the technical team to draft accurate proposals and estimates
- Track and optimize bidding performance (conversion rate, response rate, etc.)
- Support lead generation and maintain a structured client database
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bidding on Upwork or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of software development, web and mobile apps, and SaaS
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Capable of translating client requirements into clear project scopes
- Experience preparing budgets, timelines, and technical clarifications
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, Trello, and Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, BCA, MCA, B.Tech, or related IT field
- Experience with other freelance platforms such as Freelancer, Guru, or PeoplePerHour
- Knowledge of CRM or sales automation tools
- Prior experience in remote or distributed teams
